Rules for Library
Only notebooks, paper and pencil pen may be brought inside the library along with library books due for return.
Students may borrow one book at a time on their library cards. Students of class IX to XII may borrow two books at a time. Cards are not transferable.
Books are issued for a week at a time. They must be returned on the due date stamped no hold will be issued.
Students are responsible for books borrowed on their cards, any damage to the books should be pointed out at time of borrowing and the signature of the librarian obtained. Loss of books or damage to them discovered at the time return will have to be made good by the Students.
Books are issued and returned only during library periods. A fine of Rs. 5/- per day for the junior and Middle school and Rs.10/- per day for the senior school students are charged for overdue books.
If a book is lost. It will have to be replaced with a new one or the market price of the same will have to be paid. There will be a penalty for scribbling in the book.
Students of class III to IX and XI should return their library cards at the end of the academic year. Students of classes X and XII should return them before going on study leave for the board examination.
Students are welcomed to use the library for reference work during school hours if they come with written permission from the principal/supervisor/subject teacher/class teacher.
Library books, magazines & furniture are the property of the school and must not be marked, damaged or taken out of the library without permission.
Complete silence should be maintained inside and in the vicinity of the library.
LIBRARY SECURITY WILL BE DEPOSITED IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF THE ACADEMIC SESSION, WHICH IS REFUNDABLE.
