Rules for Parents
Parents are advised not to take away their child during class hours except in case of on emergency with the prior approval of the school authorities.
Parents are to inform the school if there is any change in their address and telephone numbers.
Please note, that the school does not undertake any responsibility whatsoever for any damage or injury which might be caused as a result of any accident by bus or any other conveyance provided by the school. The school will however, take all possible precautions against any such mishaps.
Unauthorized and illegal vans hove been banned by the Govt. The school advises you to refrain from using such transport for the safety of your child. You are also advised not to provide personal vehicles to be driven by underage students as this is a punishable offence.
Even if the student’s are admitted later during the term, fees for the whole Academic Session will be charged.
Collections and distributions of lunch pockets is not the responsibility of the school.
Mobile Phones, MP3 players & PDAs are strictly not permitted. If found, will be confiscated by the school authorities. Parents and guardians are requested to read and explain the school rules to their child. It is desirable that parents co-operate and adhere to the above guidelines for a positive contribution in their child’s progress.
Parents are requested not to disturb the classes or meet the teachers (in the school campus) without the prior permission of the principal.
All belongings of the student should bear their name and class. If lost, the school will not be held responsible.
Parent-Teacher meetings are held at regular intervals to provide parents and teachers an opportunity for exchanging views on the progress of their child. It is mandatory for parents to attend the Parent Teacher meetings.
Parents are expected to pay the school dues regularly in order to avoid inconvenience to them as well as to the school.
The given assignments and remarks in the School Handbook may please be countersigned everyday by the parents, who should also mention the completion or non completion of the school work.
Please see that your child devotes sufficient time to complete his assignments and revise the daily lessons at home.
The home work task must be done by the students unaided by any tutor at home. Parents may guide their child to help them out if certain difficult situations, but spoon feeding should be avoided.
It will be good to remember that any comment made in the handbook must be conveyed in a separate letter or e-mail addressed to the principal who will be pleased to look into such matters at her own level.
The school believes in the discipline and in firmness. In breach of the school discipline and rules, the school reserves the right to expel student whose conduct is harmful to other students.
Parents are advised not to give pocket money very often to their children.
It is not advisable to bring valuable articles like expensive watches, fountain pen, laptops, I-pod, calculators and jewellery to school. In case of any loss, the authorities will try their best to trace the item, but not undertake any responsibility for the same.
Parents are requested to personally see off and receive their child at bus stop especially Nursery to class II.
Children proceeding on excursions, visits, tours, picnics etc. should be dropped and picked up from the school only by the parents.
Parents must consult the School Calendar, Date Sheets and other circulars instead of making enquiries on the phone.
Any communication made by the parents/guardians should be addressed to the Principal or to the Class Teacher.
The Principal will be pleased to see the parents during visiting hours on their written request.
